Sapnas Continues To Impress

The Tigers jumped out to an early 7-0 lead, but fell to Penncrest by a final score of 41-14.

Offensively, the rushing attack of Adrian Sapnas and Abel Hoff continues to run the ball efficiently.

Marple Newtown grabbed the lead in the first quarter because of a Sapnas 74 yard touchdown run.

Sapnas finished the finished the game with 17 rushes for 156 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Hoff had 16 carries for 61 yards.

He also providing 2 receptions for 17 yards.

Brian Rosborough chipped in 4 carries for 26 yards.

The defensive leaders were A.J. Cunningham, Zach Falcone, and Markos Katrakazis.

Cunningham led the way with 8 tackles and a forced fumble.

Falcone and Katrakazis commanded the line of scrimmage with both contributing 6 tackles and a sack.
